Working Smart for Success

By Randy Gage

Let me give you a million-dollar tip:  Work with the people that deserve it, not the ones that need it.  Then teach people what they have to do to deserve you.The beaches of the world are bleached with the bones of people that had “potential.”  You can’t build with potential; you build with people that are willing to act.  I have at least five people in my organization that could make more than $100,000 a month in the biz.  But they won’t focus on it.  So I’d rather work with someone that may only appear to have potential for $5,000 a month, but they are coachable and in the game.  And those are the ones that end up making $100,000 plus.

Likewise, there are lots of people that “need” success.  But they don’t have the discipline to get past the TV remote control.  It’s not your responsibility to save them.  Trying to do this only takes your valuable time away from the people that deserve your help.  So work with the people that are working!
